Why are we partnering with the Chicago Lean Startup Challenge?
The Lean Challenge team will provide you with tools and action plans to validate your business model and help you establish traction. We use these metrics to determine who our finalists will be.

What if you don't want to enter the Lean Startup Challenge?
You can directly enter the Chicago Health Tech Pitch Contest, but your chances to be a
finalist will not be good. If you choose this path, then please be sure you're applying with
a validated business model and you can show us you have strong traction.
(The entry fee to apply directly is $150... vs $100 if you apply for the Lean Challenge)
Who should apply?
Teams of two or more co-founders with just an idea or a pre-revenue product or an
established product with revenue.
Who should not apply?
Don't apply if your company has raised VC funding.
Don't apply if your company has participated in an accelerator.
Don't apply if your company isn't based in the Midwest. (We do show preference for Chicago startups.)
